What are the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?
Mission
The International Sibling Society promotes Arts and Culture all over the world by building partnership coalitions in 190+ countries promoting and achieving 17 Sustainable Development Goals (a.k.a. SDGs) by the year 2030, as a 501(c)(3) Charitable A20 Arts & Culture Nonprofit Organization on a mission to provide, produce and promote arts and culture access to a variety of arts experiences encompassing the visual, media and performing arts.
Founded in 1998, the International Sibling Society sponsored a series of orphanage studies in Germany, Latvia, Switzerland, Belarus, Bulgaria, France, India, Thailand, China and Japan resulting in the creation of “Painting a Voice,” a collection of over 200 paintings created by children living in orphanages around the world. “Painting a Voice” opened at the United Nations New York City headquarters in January 2005. Today The International Sibling Society continues its work by raising awareness of international child abandonment and other pressing international issues through volunteerism and art-based projects such as photo exhibitions, documentary films, public art installations, lectures & conferences.
The International Sibling Society currently seeks collaborators to promote and achieve the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Society launched this effort at Burning Man 2022. Art created there is currently in circulation through various exhibition venues. To be a part of this effort, contact us at diplomaticoffice@issNOw.earth.
